It’s private. As it takes place in your own space, only you need know you’re doing counselling. No need to sit in a waiting room, or go to an office. Your space, your comfort, and your privacy.
Affordable cost. As Online counselling requires very small investments and minimal overhead, the cost is typically lower than in person face to face counselling.

Frequently Asked Questions
IS ONLINE COUNSELLING SECURE?
Video protocols are very difficult to decrypt with today’s technology. With millions of video connections happening daily, online counselling is as secure as face to face counselling. Skype is a very stable and solid platform which I generally use, but other software can be used as the need arises. All records of online counselling are kept in secure encrypted format.
IS IT LESS EFFECTIVE THAN FACE-TO-FACE SESSIONS?
In many respects online counselling can be more effective than some in person sessions. While technology can provide some difficulty, it allows the client to remain in a safe space – either their home or other safe environments – which allows the work to be more effective than being in a therapeutic office. (You can even do sessions while on vacation should you desire)
WHAT IF THE TECHNOLOGY DOESN'T WORK?
While there are very few technologies these days that are not compatible with one another, it can happen upon rare occasion. And sometimes technology can fail us. Counselling can also happen by telephone which is nearly as effective as video conferencing.
